This place is special, and its story begins with the owner of the village, Aivars Zvirbulis, who had the idea to create a village that harmoniously blends the beauty of the landscape with reverence for nature.

Amatciems has internal regulations that foster harmonious living with neighbors and nature. Here, silence is observed to maintain harmony with the environment. Evenings and nights in the village are tranquil, and making noise is not permitted. These regulations reflect the village's commitment to caring for nature and preserving harmony with the surroundings.

Abundance of Water Bodies!

One unique feature of Amatciems is its abundance of water bodies. Initially, there were only two lakes here - Melnezers and Vēķis. However, presently, there are over 30 water bodies, occupying approximately 30% of the village's land area. This wealth of water not only adds visual beauty but also provides opportunities for water-related activities and relaxation by the water's edge.
